Horn, Security System?

Hello,

Try resetting the security system.
Just disconnect the negative battery cable and wait 60 seconds before connecting again. This should reset the alarm system.
Please keep in mind that this will only work if the alarm system is factory equipped.
If it does not reset but the alarm is factory equipped then you might have a faulty alarm module or an issue with the ignition switch.

I will try this and get back with you. I had had the battery unhooked overnight after I'd bought the car. I will try this again. :-)

I had disconnected the negative battery cable, it was for longer than 60 seconds. I went to hook it back up and as I was trying to put the screw back in the horn was going off so I went to the fuse box, took the fuse out, and reconnected the battery. I went to put the fuse back in and the horn went off so I left the fuse out. At this point it is still out. The car will start and run, that wasn't a problem anyway, just the horn.

It could be a shorted wire in the alarm module that is triggering the horn to be active all the time. Checking the wiring would be the next step. I have attached the anti-theft wiring schematics below.
