Hood sensor does not turn off?

Got into an accident. The engine is fine. Just some body damage. The hood is latched on but the warning sound doesn't stop saying it's open.

So, the hood can be latched but not completely. This will keep the latch sensor warning on. Here is the location of the latch and sensor so you can adjust it upward to help clear the warning. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
