Hood completely stuck shut

Hi,

Can you still access the cable on the inside of the vehicle? If so, take plyers and see if you can pull on it to release the hood.

Here are directions for emergency hood opening. The attached picture correlates with the directions.

Make a stable hook from a piece of wire, approximately 1.5 mm thick.
Insert the hook up beside the radiator (see the illustration).
Secure the hook on the arm on the right-hand side of the hood catch. It will be difficult to hook the wire into place if it is too thick.
Hook the hook onto the latch and pull downwards.
