Hi the dog house, Thank nyou for the donation. I am not sure which relay you are refering to and I have attached a diagram for you to refer. The SRS don't use any relay and should not be as the voltage is not very high so won't cause the overheating of the relay.

Please let me know which one and I will get the wire color codes for you.

Bob and KEN, I am sorry I did not explain all,The relay smoked bad, I cut the wires to it and then the srs light came on, thats why I thought it was a srs relay, but its a power accessary relay with 4 connectors on it, that was laying right next to the fuse box inside the car on the driver side of the car, the plug that went to the relay melted, I was able to get a new relay, but unsure where the four wires go???

Hi there,

Is the relay found in the diagram above?
Is there any things not functioning now?

For relays normally there will be 2 bigger and 2 smaller diameter wires. Smalller diameter will be for the coil circuit and the larger wires will be for power and to the component power is to be supplied. It does not matter which way you attach them, just make sure you get the circuit correct.

Hi there,

You are correct, it should be for the remote starting relay.
What type of relay have you purchased? 4 or 5 pin type?

From the wires available, you need to find out
1. Starter wire.
2. Battery power supply.
3. Ground.
4. Remote control power supply.

Label them and we will try to work it out for you.

Hi, Well, seems we have a different situation now. It could possibly be the spot lights instead of the auto starter. The SRS light showing might be a different problem which you need to scan to find out what is wrong. Relay wires. Black = Body ground, both should be attached together. White = Battery power supply. Orange = To flood lights Red/Yellow = From floodlight switch. These are based on normal Honda color codes for wires and not confirmed to be correct as yours is add on. You need to test and confirm if they are correct. Use a test lamp, ground to body and test each wire for power supply. Attach the test lamp to the wire that has power supply and use it to connect other wires to find the ground wire. From the diagram, Pin # 1 = Constant power supply Pin # 3 = To flood light Pin # 2 = From control switch Pin # 4 = Ground.

Hi ,

Sorry to hear about your dad's health problem. Hope he gets well soon.

Yes, both blacks should be spliced together.

Hi,

The SRS is a safety concern and any mistake can cause the air bags to deploy so is best checked with a scanner. Get it done at your local Autozone Outlet and get the exact error code so we can understand the problem better.
