1998 Honda Prelude Knock sensor

I recently did a valve job on my car and I broke the knock sensor (it split in two). I really don't care if I have this sensor and I don't want to spend the $160 to replace it. The fitting is intact and is not a concern for leaking.

Can I jumper out the wires in the plug to eliminate the warning on the dash.

I would reconsider your decision to eliminate the knock sensor, with out this sensor you ignition timing will not be adjusted by the ECU and excessive pinning will result in piston damage and at best very high fuel consummation, and with out the input from this sensor the ECU will always register a fault and the check light will stay on.
