my honda prelude, is not starting. its got spark tons of it, fuel pressure, and fuel is getting to cylinders. getting air. all though i found water in my cool air intake. took spark plugs our and opened intake to dry out for two days at 85f . replaced with new. spark plugs, rotor cap and wires. oil and filter. air filter. checked all conections for corrosion. charged battery. got all back together. turned it over once and i shot fire out the intake.(backfired). im to scared of trying it again. can this damage the motor, intake, or anything. ive heard that this could be a result of timing belt skipping a tooth. Is there anything else that could cause this problum? is the h22a4 a non-interfearance motor? does it take the motor droped down and out to fix timing belt or can it be fixed in the car. but i have a performance clutch to put in also so i guess i can make it a winter project. any information will help.
