A while ago, the phone charger was accidentally yanked out of the cigarette lighter awkwardly by it's cord. At that moment the dome light went out. So I checked the fuse and it was burned out. I replaced it and the light worked but every time I plugged in that charger, the fuse blew again. So I stopped using the charger. Later, the AC fuse burned out and the lights on the AC controls stopped working. I replaced the fuse and it seemed fine.

A few weeks later, the car overheated and the AC no longer cooled the air at the same time. I took it to a mechanic who found a crack in the radiator and had the radiator replaced. A few days later, it overheated again. This time I noticed that the cooler fan was not turning on so I checked the cooler fan fuse and it was blown. I replaced the fuse. Then I tried turning on the AC to try and get the fan turning and when I turned on the AC, the fan turns for a split second and the fuse burns out.

There are two fans mounted on the radiator. The fuse box has the smaller one labeled as "condenser fan". That fan works fine. The bigger one is labeled "cooler fan". And that is the one that is not working.

I don't see any coolant leaks and there is no smoke from the exhaust.

Is the fan the problem or does it seem more likely I have an electrical problem?

Does the cooler fan come on eventually even without the AC being on? And if so, will the fuse blow again even without the AC being on?

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you.

Power the radiator fan from the battery if it comes on you're good, Next step is to find the short that's causing the fuse to blow-
