I have a ’92 Honda Prelude S. I’m trying to save some money by changing the head myself. Unfortunately, I pulled a rookie move and stripped the head on the front bolt on the driver’s side. All of the other bolts required a 18 inch breaker bar coupled with a 12 inch pipe in order to get enough torque to break them lose, and even with all that it took a lot of strength. So, I don’t know if I can get the bolt out with an easy-out if I were to drill the head off the bolt as has been suggested.
Can you give me any ray of hope for saving my engine, and the extra $2000 for a “new-ish†motor?
