i have a 92 prelude with an h23a1 for the motor and it overheats after 45 min of driving. i changed the thermostat but it still over heats ive noticed that when the cars been running for bout 45 min to an hour the the lower radiator hose isnt warm or hot at all but where the thermostat goes into the engine is warm. could this be a faulty thermostat or water pump, and also my cooling fan turns on for bout 15 min after the car is shut off hot or cold but its been like that for 2 years, could that also be a big problem? and i was also wondering which direction the coolant flows, from the top radiator hose to the bottom or vise sersa?

It is quite possible that you have an air-lock ( you didn't fully bleed the coolant) and that is causing the thermostat not to open.

Try properly bleeding it until the thermostat opens. If it doesn't open, it's faulty.
