1992 Honda Prelude 1992 PRELUDE BACKFIRING THEN BOG OUT

I have a 1992 prelude with a motor swap of an h22a which came out of a 1998 prelude. The kid i bought it from before said there weren't really any problems until the other day my car freaked out. I replaced the external coil because i wasnt getting spark to my distributor, i started to drive and after a few minutes my speedometer dropped all the way to 0 and my exhaust created a loud backfiring noise. Immediately my car cut off and now i cant start it, it wants to turn over, but no... i feel as if i have the wrong ecu and my motor is letting me know that its wrong by doing these weird things. I have the p13 ecu, don't exactly know if i need to switch or not. PLEASE HELP IF POSSIBLE
