Transmission problem
1990 Honda Prelude Two Wheel Drive Manual 244000 miles

We had the clutch replaced about two months ago and after I noticed what I can only describe as fluttering under the driver's side after I shifted gears. I originally chalked this up to some seriously worn tires and a need for alignment, but we replaced the tires all around and got the car aligned and the fluttering is still there. It seems to occur when I shift too soon, almost like the clutch is loose and rattling around until the rpms increase. Also, the clutch pedal will get stuck just above the fully-depressed position and I will have to use my toes to pull it back up. What could be going on? any ideas? should I take it back to the guys who replaced my clutch and have them take a look and tighten up whatever is loose?

Yes, you should get back to the guys who replaced the clutch to ahve a look.

The clutch pedal sticking at the depressed position is either due to leaking hydraulics or the pedal height is adjusted too low.
