Well, a couple of weeks ago, my brake lights all went out. I replaced the switch at the brake pedal, and this did not fix the problem. However, my battery died, and when I jumped the car off, the brake lights functioned properly once again. Now, the battery will not charge most of the time. Sometimes, when I turn or drive on a very rough surface, the charging system will begin working, but it never lasts. Alternator, or some mystery loose connection?

Thank you in advance.
