In July, at 96000 miles, I had the recommended timing belt replaced at a Honda Dealer. One week later the battery was dead. From that point on, I continually have RPM issues. At slower speeds, it won't rev up. At higher speeds, it quickly goes from 3 to 1 in a plummetting fashion. Within two weeks of the timing belt replacement, all of this was going on and the "drive" gear light came on. They told me that the computer said it was the 4th gear so they replaced it. Still with RPM problems after that, I went back to them. The service manager rode with me and I showed him how the RPMs bounced around and how the car was jerking. He said since he had no record of my transmission fluid replacement that that was probably the problem, and that since I had used a new loaner car I probably forgot how my car drove. Very insulting to say the least. Still with this problem, the engine comes on 1 month later so I take it back and now they say it's the rotary valve and this will fix the RPM issue. Well, now two to four weeks later, it is still jerking, poor RPM ups and downs, no rev. Please help me solve this as it is getting very expensive. To me, something must have been put back together with the timing belt replacement. It only has 106000 miles and this car should go another 100000 but not like this. Thank you. Annamarie
