When I try to put the car in reverse it will not shift out of park. I noticed that the break lights do not go on. When the break lights go on then it allows me to shift into reverse and drive. I have been steping on the break petal constantly until the breaks come on. Sometimes it takes quite a while for the break lights to come on so I can shift the car into reverse and go.
