I lost all my radio stations but my CD and Tape play fine. My mechanic thinks its my antenna amp which he says is in the headliner of the vehicle. All of the presets are still set. I checked that the antenna is still connected to the radio. Does the whole headliner need to be removed to replace the amp. I have recently purchased a powered antenna which I have not installed as of yet. I would like to hear from the experts.

The whole headliner does have to come off, just lower the left rear headliner. I would check all the connection there first.
