I have a 2005 Honda CRV four wheel drive. I took my car in to Jiffy Lube for an oil change around 45,000 miles. I noticed an oil leak under the car few hours after the oil change. By then I have driven the car for about 100 miles. Immediately, I took the car back and Jiffy lube realized they had two gaskets on the oil filter. New filter was installed and half a quart of oil was added. The vehicle drives fine, should I anticipate any damage to the piston rodes? Should I have anything check for possible delayed damage? Thanks for your respond.

Running the car with a half a quart low on oil will not cause any damage to the motor. I highly doubt that any damage was caused. Hope this answers your question. :)

That is right, no problem. I just wanted to say that you were lucky. Many times the pressure will force out all the oil in a short time period.
