Brake light warning

One of my right brake lights went out, so I replaced it.. yet the brake light warning light on my dash is still lit up.. how do I make it go away? all my brake lights are working fine now..

Check the fuses.

Does the brake light come on even though u see the warning light if so it could be a short, if not it could be the fuse. More likely to be the fuse.
