1989 Acura leagend

I like my legend...i just got for a reasonable price i belive....i was driving to work in the rain and had my wipers on.. get to work they dont need me so drive back home and noticed before long my wipers dont work and then it starts poring,,, I dont understand i hear the motor goin for the wipers please need tip

check the transmission on the wipers motor and the arm
are you sure the motor its turning?

me and a buddy checked under the panel and see the arm is coming off the wipers...we jerry rigged and now i belive i have to oder a arm or the whole assembly
