1987 Other Honda Models 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

we just put a new clutch in, when shifting from 1st. to 2nd the gears grind. we didnt adjust the clutch. can you tell me how to ajust it I don't know if you have to hold down the clutch while adjusting it or what?

Hi there, if you have the cable clutch, with out any pedal pressure, pull the cable backward at the adjuster, wind in the adjuster nut so you have about 5mm play this should fix your problem. Mark (mhpautos)
