Re: 1996 Honda Odyssey, 88,000 miles, 6 cyl, automatic.
I recently shipped my car from Alaska to Maryland. Upon delivery, I immediately noticed a loud rumbling noise. Mechanic said that all 4 wheel bearings were damaged. I paid for the repair and now the car runs beautifully. When I contacted the shipper, the rep said that it could not be due to shipping. My questions are: Under normal driving conditions, how likely is it that all 4 wheel bearings go bad at the same time and Can not strapping a car properly during a cross-country shipment lead to this type of damage?
