Brake noise from the back

I have a Honda Odyssey 2001, 83000 miles and V6 engine. I bought from a private party last year. I heard a loud screeching sound coming from the back when i pressed the brakes. It has been going on for the last 2/3 days. What is the problem? or what needs to be fixed? :o

You need to pull this in to the garage and have the brakes looked at. You might have gone down to the warning indicator on the brakes and if they get that loud you may be through the pad and into the metal of the pad, thus harming the rotors.
