Driving on FWY, I saw white fumes from the hood. I also felt rubber-burning smell. I pulled over onto the shoulder of the freeway. During towing my car, towing person found leaking from the trasmission.

Later I found multiple transmission oil drop marks on the left side of the driveway. Opening the hood, I also saw oil-wet trace over the left side(beside the battery seat) engine part.

For reference, aprx. 2 months ago, I had transmission oil replaced: the mechanic washed the transmission with transmission oil many times; repeated being filled & drained for over 2 hours.

Hi Charles Kim,

You would need to clean up, check the fluid level and then start vehicle to locate the leak. It could be a burst hoses or excesive fluid in the trans causing the fluids to be pushed out of the breather tube.
