My car doesn't start all the time. It turns over really well and I smell gas (trying not to flood it) however it is not firing. IF it does start it runs smooth. It is only after it has been shut off then I try to start it again.. it will sit there and turn over. It seems like there is no spark. My question is... Wouldn't it run rough if it were the spark plugs??? Could it be the fuel pump.. even tho I do smell gas.
