My 95 Honda del sol has a standard transmission, I ran out of oil the other day due to the oil cap coming off, while I was driving I felt the clutch pedal just like drop and started catching very low to the floor and I started smelling a bad smell from my heater so I shut the car off right away and had it towed home. Today I filled the engine back up with oil and put a new oil cap on and it started right up fine! But when I drive it the clutch is still feeling messed up, it sometimes feels normal and sometimes is catching really low...I've tried pumping the clutch many times but it still hasn't made a difference. While I was driving a few minutes ago I couldn't even get it into gear because of something with the clutch. The clutch was fine before I ran out of oil, what could have happened and how can I fix it? Thanks

Hi RavenR6,

Symptoms seems to indicate a fault with the clutch hydraulics system. This has nothing to do with the oil.

Get the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder checked.
