I have a Honda CRX with a B-16 Engine and Stage 3 Clutch, cable ripped on me while on the street, I had search everywhere for the cable, but when I describe the car people looked at me if I'm crazy, and do not know what is it I bought this car from a dealership and the B16 engine and Stage 3 Cable where there already, first question how should I ask for this type of car when I need a part replacement without going to the dealer beacause when I ask for 88' Honda CRX part the part is always wrong, second question the cable I finally got it from this honda dealer but when I install the cable and I start to adjust the cable, it goes all the way down is this normal or the cable it's too long or did I do something wrong, and if I purchase the wrong cable how do I ask for it and where with out going to the car dealer (they are too expensive)
thank you

Your best bet is a cable from a 1989-1993 acura integra as they utilize a cable aswell but they use a dual cam engine.
