1987 Honda CRX Brake bleeding

I replaced my rear shoes and hardware, adjusted the E brake, and bled my brakes. However, i forgot to leave the master cylinder cap off and while I bleeding the system I saw that I leaking fluid aourd the the booster/cylinder area. I checked all around and can't find where the fluid is coming from. So I continued to bleed the system with the cylinder cap "off" this time.

I got good pedal pressure and saw air coming out of the lines. But during the drive test I no pressure, ZERO!! I have no leaks anywhere. No air coming out of lines.

Did I damage my booster and/or cylinder when I bled the system with the master cylinder cap on??
