I have a 2004 Honda CRV, 170K kms, standard transmission.
The check engine light came on yesterday and the car hesitates at 2800 rpm and kicks back in at 2400 rpm. Problem seems directly related to rpms no matter what gear or speed. It is like there is a governor cutting the engine out as soon as the rpms hit 2800 and then power returns at 2400 rpms.
Any idea what the problem might be???
