Hi there,
the engine will vibrate violently whenever a/c cuts in at idle speed,is it normal for crv's?

No it is not normal.

Are there any check engine lights?

There might be a TSB or a recall out on an engine mount on that vehicle. This should not be happening on a 2008 vehicle.
