When i'm at about75 Mph and i hit my brake my car shakes a little and i hear the sound of a tire rubbing up against something. The harder i press the brake the stronger the sound. When i slow down i the sound dissipates and sounds normal again.

Hello,

A vehicle can shake when you hit the brake for few reasons.
It could be for worn out suspension components like ball joints, control arms etc. It can also shake for unbalanced tires.

It can also shake for having wrapped brake rotors.
Since the noise and vibration increases with the pressure of the brake pedal, it is a good possibility that the issue is with the brake.
Brake rotors gets wrapped due to a lot of stop and go traffic or when they are bellow minimum thickness. When they are wrapped you will feel the vibration/pulsation when you apply the brakes.
Rotors can be resurfaced if they are above minimum thickness. Whether they are resurfaced or replaced, it is recommended to change the brake pads as well.

The sound you hear could be worn off pads rubbing against the rotors.

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.

Thank you.
