when i reach 3000 rpm the gas to the motor shuts off when the rpm is decreased it gives gas but it wont go over 3000rpm without shutting off

no there wasn't any replacements of parts, it was running fine until 3 days ago

also the check engine light has not come on

Get the fuel filter checked, it could be clogged and restricting the amount of fuel supply to the fuel rails.
