A few months ago I slid into curb sideways. The initial inspection found the lower control arm was bent so I had it replaced. However, when it was put on the alignment rack at dealership and they could not get the fron right camber into the specified range. i was told I likely bent the steering knuckle, the strut and would need to replace the wheel bearing. Two Honda techs looked at it and said they did not see any damage to axle or subframe. I had it checked by an independent shop and they came to the same conclusion.
I have been driving the car since and have only noted that it slowly drifts to the right when driving on the highway. Recently I had the car into another shop and mentioned what I had done. they looked and said the subframe was bent in the area where the lower control arm connects. You can see a dent but I'm not if it is a bend or more a cosmetic thing where arock may have hit it. They suggested if I could live with the drift they would not bother repairing. They said the tires showed no sign of unusual wear.
I am kind of puzzled two Honda techs didn't see this or the independent mechanic. However I trust the guys who pointed it out.
I am ready to put on new tires and I need some advice.
