Drivers side power window not working

It sounds like the window motor/regulator has gone out which is common I think you can do the motor separate here is a guide to help you test and confirm the motor failure. Here are the window wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works.

I had this problem it was the motor burned out got a new one for $78.00 all fixed have someone hold the regulator in a vise when you take the motor off.

Both switches that control the right passenger front window stopped working for a few minutes one day, then started working again briefly. Now, they have stopped working again. I am trying to troubleshoot and I do not know if one switch is controls the other or not. It looks like there are two sets of wires going to the passenger side door. One with blue/white and blue/red and then the other is part of a harness.

While testing, I jumped pins 1 and 5 and blew the 20 amp fuse, replaced it. Did not do that again.

So, the big issue I see is that both window switches do not work. The one on the drivers side next to the steering wheel that controls the passenger side doors and the one on the right passenger door.

What could that be? The relay controls all the windows so I would think that is not the issue.

Fuses are good.

Uses an ohm meter and check for bad switches if okay there will be 0 ohms.

Power window front driver side does not operate, all other windows fine. Checked fuses all good. Help

Hi vbucci, You should test the motor if the fuses are okay. MOTOR TEST Driver's Window Motor Test Remove door panel. Unplug 4-pin connector from motor. Using jumper wires, connect terminals Number 1 and 2 to battery voltage and ground. See Fig. 3 . Check operation of window motor. Reverse jumper wires and retest. Motor should operate in the opposite direction. If motor does not operate in both directions, replace power window motor.

Window will not work, took door panel off and checked window motor and it works, replaced main switch and that did not fix. All other window work. Checked fuses?

Check for a broken wire between door and door post check to see if switch gets power all the time.

Hi, I am having problems with my CRV's power windows, particularly on the driver's side. It has stopped going all the way up on its own and you have to give it a push so that it will shut completely. My friend who owns a CRV has the same problem and another friend who drives a Honda as well also encountered problems with the power windows. Is this a manufacturer's defect?

The problem occurs when restriction is felt on the door glass.

Check the door glass runchannel for deformation and if the rubber has hardened, replacement is necessary to resolve the problem.

This is a common problem with all makes and not Honda alone.

Driver side window and left back window will not work.
Passenger and right rear windows are fine. I hear a clicking noise when I try the driver window switch. Also, the clock has slowly faded out and stopped working.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Check the fuses first. The clicking noise is from the switch operations and does not mean anything.

Next to test ould be the window motors. You need to remove the door panel and disconnect the window motor wires. Apply battery voltage to one terminal while grounding the other terminal. Reverse the polarity if necessary and if motor starts to work, they are good.

Continue with checking the master and door switch test.
