1999 Honda CRV vibration during acceleration from a stop

After replacement of all the items listed, were there any significant changes in the results?

Is the vibration felt on the steering wheel or from body?

Did you check the propeller shaft U joints and mounting?

Was the rear differential fluids replaced? Fluid are specific and generic fluids should ot be used.

The vibration is coming through the steering wheel and body.

After replacing all the listed items the vibration/shaking seems to have gotten even worse during acceleration: And it only seems to happen in first gear.

L/R Upper control arm w/balljoints
L/R lower ball joints
L/R CV joints (not shafts)
All motor mounts (some of which were broken)
Sway bar bushings and end links
All Struts
L/R inner and outer tie rods

-I have replaced rear diff fluid w/honda dual pump fluid
Changed transmission fluid three times w/honda fluid
-I have checked the propeller shaft mounts but not the u-joints and shaft runout

I have read many posts talking about c-v shafts being the culprit. I am wondering however, if my transmission might be the culprit. It was hanging up in third gear a while back hense why I changed the fluid so many times. It still does it periodically however.

In your firstpost you mentioned replacing the CV shaft inboard joints. If that had been replaced, it elimiinates the possibility of them being the cause. CV shaft would not cause the problem exept for the inner joints.

I would suggest checking the CV inboard joint where it is plugged into the differential. If there is excessive clearance when shaking the cv joint, it could possibly be wear of the differential bearings.

Torque converter is a possible cause but there is no known way to test except to replace.

Remember to check the U joints first.
