I had my inspected this past February. This past Thursday my ball joint broke as my friend was driving my car. In February the same time as inspection I also had my car re-aligned. Should the mechanic picked up on ball joint?

How would approach the auto body who did the inspection and alignment the same day did not check the ball joint. My friend was driving my car there were 2 children when the ball joint went. I am still upset that they could have been hurt because of this oversite?

Hi there,

Be straight up and tell them, also if you have a dated receipt for the repairs or a pic of the fail unit this will be a big plus on your side, this is just shoddy workman ship and they must be aware of there error.
