Hey there im new to this site so sorry if I sound like a "newbie". I have been hearing sounds from under my small SUV. I had Midas look at it and give me a 1,200 dollar estimate to fix the differential. As advice i was told to flus the diff fluid, I did so, but the grinding noise continued. I also removed the drive shaft or propellar shaft that give the back wheels power to avoid damaging the diff, yet still the grinding noise continues to come. I am in over my head on this car problem.
