1997 Honda CRV Alternator?

Hello,

I am new to the site and my question is, I started my car one morning and it started up right away but after a few seconds it died. After that it wouldn't start anymore. The engine would turn but won't start. The battery seems fine so I'm thinking it may be the alternator but I'm not sure. I could sure use your expertise. Thank you so much for your time!

engine size?
one of the alternator job is to charge the battery
so if your battery fully charged
i would say alternator is fine
check for spark and fuel flow and pressure
if u have an dist it may be at fault and new on
if you dist less crank sensor
