I know it said to include year, mileage and engine size of car but I don't know those things. See it's not my car I have a question about, it's my fiiance's. He has a Honda Civic, i think it's a 92. For some reason the clutch went out. It wont pump. He added fluid, but that didn't help. He thought it might be the slave cylinder so he replaced the slave cylinder and it still isn't working. What are some other possibilities as to why the clutch would stop working? I'm sorry if this question doesn't have very much specifics. I really don't understand anything about cars. He is frustrated and ready to five up on this car, so i wanted to try to do something to help. I will be very greatful for any information you can give me! Thank you

CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME??????

When you say went out, is that as in the pedal does nothing but maybe go to the floor? If he replaced the slave unit, what was his basis for replacing that item? Leak found? Did he bleed the slave cylinder as the directions that come with them cover? The master cylinder is just as vulnerable to be wrong. That should be checked for leaks both around the master under the hood and inside the car where it goes through the firewall from the clutch pedal. Don't give up, the fix is easy.

Yeah the clutch just went to the floor! He said that there was fluid all over the engine from the slave cylinder. (what kind of fluid, i'm not sure) I'll tell him to check the master cylinder too!!! Thank you!
