Cost to replace battery cables

You should have change it yourself,then again I don't know whether you're a man or a woman- in today's auto technology parts and labor can skyrocket-some people don't believe on using the parts and labor guide-its jungle rules out there worst than gouging--

Assumming its me doing the diagnostics-I will charge you just looking at it @ $75.00 first 30 mins.while drinking coffee without special tools and testing equipment. No am just joking-you didn't mentioned the cost

I would atleast charge you for the cables close to $20.00 and me turning the wrench another $25.00 and again some repairs you need to grow tentacles just to get to the starter or remove the engine to get there. It really depends on the situation.
