radio is full of static?

My radio is full of static no matter what station or type of station, AM or FM. In a few minutes it changes stations on it's own. It is not in scan mode at the time?

Hello,

There is a antenna signal amplifier in that vehicle, it is located under the rights c-pillar.
It is likely the issue for you getting all the static.
Make sure the wires that goes to it is plugged in securely, it has a tendency to come loose or get moisture which will make it inoperative.
