Wipers sometimes work fine. Other times (3 times within 2 weeks) they go rogue. Eg intermittent - wipe 3 times in succession, then pause; wipe 3 times, pause. Once the speed was appropriate, but they wouldn't stop when told to stop, until they had wiped several more times. Once the speeds weren't appropriate, computer seemed confused.l Have stopped with blades in the middle of the windshield, and with the blades standing straight up at the extreme side of the windshield. Once when I turned the car on the wipers came on automatically, when they had been off when I stopped the car the previous time I'd driven it.

Do you think an adjustment is sufficient or do I need a new motor? The Honda dealership is quoting $300 plus for a new motor.

HI there,

You will be up for a new motor, you could try getting one from a wreckers, this will save some money and your local mechanic could fit it up for you.
