If someone could help me out with this issue I had when I changed the front brakes on my car. I got the old brake pads out, depressed the caliper piston all the way back into the caliper, put in the new brake pads, and reassembled everything. The problem came when I put the car into gear, it wouldn't move. It felt like the brakes were stuck and wouldn't let the car move. It was the same in driver and in reverse. I made sure that my emergency brake was off. Does anyone know what might be wrong?

Did you have to hammer your caliper on by chance?

Yeah, I did have to hammer the calipers back on. Figured it was normal since I had them retracted all the way.
