I have a 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid. I want to change the PCV Valve on it and the shop manual suggests that the only way to do this is to remove the intake manifold as the valve is screwed into the bottom of the manifold. To your knowlage is there another way to do this without having to remove the intake manifold. The replacment valve is only $6 but the cost in labor if I had a shop do it would be quite high. I could tackel the job myself but I want to know if there is an alternative method. Please advise.

Thank you, C. Hili

Hi C Hili,

Sorry to say that seems to be the only way. At least that is what all my books and cd's say. Haven't done one myself so all I can go by is what the books and cd's say.
