Our son who is handicapped called re: this problem with his car. While drive the car, the Check Engine light came on, and the car began loosing power. He continue to drive, however, it would not accelerate over 20 mph. It is late at night, but in checking the oil dip stick, it appears there is oil in the engine, although it reads low.
What do you recommend we check first...thank you so much. We are over 2000 miles away on a trip and can not be there to double check the situation.
