2001 Honda Civic Steering wheel shakes sometimes even at lo

While driving the steering whels sometimes shakes as if the weight is not properly distributed on the axel. I had changed all tired around 8 months ago and recently replaced the front struts and went for a wheel allignment and balancing. The wheel shaking happens at random and i can also smell something burning when this happens.
The car drives fine the next morning and for a day or 2 and then the problems comes back suddenly even when i am driving at 25mph.
