Hi there,

I have a 1.6 Honda civic sport 2001,

for a few months now i've had this very annoying rattle noise from the front passenger side wheel that i cant get to the bottom of. It is a rattle noise that is always constant but some times sounds a lot worse than other days. It is much louder when going over bumpier roads. It sounds to me like something is really loose. I have had the CV joint replaced, and the strut replaced, and the suspension bush and arm replaced all on the front passenger side of the car. Im due to now have the ball joint replaced and the sway bar drop links. Do you think there are any other possibilities that might be causing this rattle? Could it have somehting to do with a gland nut possibly? Please help me as i'm running out of ideas of what on earth is causing the noise! many thanks callum doyle, [email protected]

Check the lower control arm bushing. Specifically the one at the front of the vehicle. These are very common.
