We have a honda civic and approx. 4 months ago we started to experience a dead battery. It was very intermittent and would need to be jumped a couple times a day or go a week with no problems. We had the battery, alternator, starting system all inspected and there where no problems. They also checked for battery drain and could not find anything. The car has been in the shop 3 times and none of the mechanics could find anything wrong. We replaced the battery but the problem still persists. Do you have any ideas as to what is causing this problem. Something is draining the battery, could it be something other than the starting system and where would we look?

Get a test light disconnect the negative battery cable put test light between the disconnected cable and battery negative post if the test light lits you have a short somewhere in the electrical system. Now start removing fuses one at time the fuse that eliminates the light is the trouble circuit-
