2001 Honda Civic Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi I had a question about the power locks on my civic. You see when I use the power lock button in the car to lock or unlock the doors it only works the driver side and not the passenger side. For a while it would somtimes unlock the passenger side on and off but lately the passenger dook lock doesn't operate. If I want to unlock or lock the passenger side I have to do it manually. If you can offer any suggestions on what it could be I would appreciate it.
