I took my car for regular oil change to the dealer and he is advising me to replace both the rear trailer arm bushings saying those are damaged. When I enquired about the price for this, he quote me $700. My car is just running fine and Is this repair necessary ?

It is not critical to replace it, however you will notice a big difference in how your vehicle handles, brakes and the overal feel of it. Those bushings are very common of failure, and eventually they will just break away.

I recommend you get a second opinion/estimate at an independent shop. You can probably find it a lot cheaper than that.
