I have a 2000 honda civic si body with a 2000 honda ex motor with an automatic transmission. Everything seems to be working. The main wiring harness to the motor seemed to match up perfectly. Now I am having trouble with the interior wiring. Specifically the wiring to the automatic gear shifter. Because the SI had a manual transmission I dont think it has the same wires. Also, I know I have to install the control assembly interlock thing that keeps you from cranking the car while its in gear but I can't figure out where the hookup for that is either or if there is one. I am hoping this is all I have to do but I am not sure about that, either. Can anyone tell me the difference between the ex and si wiring harnesses and hopefully what to do to fix it.
