Hi there, my car starts making this squeeling noise kind of like a lose belt only when i drive. Well it actually starts squeeling after i drove on the freeway (at speeds of 70-80 mph) for about 10-15 minutes. After that it starts squeeling and doesnt stop until my car is cooled down. I noticed when my car is cold or even if the engine is runnuing at normal operating temperature not for a long time, then there is no squeeling, but after it ran for a while at slow speeds, or bout 10 minutes at high speeds, it starts squeeling. Oh and another thing is, idk if this has anything to do with it, but i have a guage that shows air/fuel ratio and when the car is cold the needle jumps around in the optimal area. When the car gets warm or normal teperature, the needle jumps all the way from rich to lean so it jumps from the bottom to the top. Could that have anything to do with it? If not, why does it do that? Oh and my car is running rich right now as well. Thank you for all your help, sorry the ? is so long

Hi Vadka,

The noise could be from the radiator or condenser cooling fan motor.

Oh ok thank you, but how could it be the radiator? why would the radiator make that sound and only when the engine gets hot? anyways, if its either of those two things that you said, I should just replace them right?

Hi Vadka,

Not the radiator, what I meant are the cooling fan motors.

If they are noisy, it means they are failing and should be replaced.

Hi Vadka,

In that case, it should not be from the engine. Most probable cause would be from the wheel bearing rear seals brushing against the CV joints.
